Experience an immersive journey starting with a picturesque motorboat cruise along the Mekong River, offering breathtaking views of the famed Dragon, Unicorn, Turtle, and Phoenix islands. As we cross the river, delve into the traditional craft of coconut candy making at a local workshop while having a hands-on experience. A visit to a local family’s home welcomes us with the melodic tunes of local musicians, serenading us as we relish tea, fruits, and engaging conversations. Embrace the local way of life by hand-rowing a sampan along the tranquil canal, enjoying the cool shade and gentle breeze. Transitioning to Xe Lôi, a local mode of transportation, we traverse the villages, absorbing the authentic charm of the surroundings. Savor a Vietnamese 5-course meal at a riverside restaurant, offering a delightful culinary journey. After lunch, unwind before our return on the motor-boat to Mỹ Tho. The excursion concludes with a visit to the magnificent Vĩnh Tràng Pagoda, an architectural gem dating back to the 19th century. Marvel at the collection of Buddha statues, some aged over a century, and immerse yourself in the rich history and spirituality of this revered site along the Mekong Delta.

Day 1: Hanoi – Bai Chay – Halong Bay

It’s time to climb aboard Oriental Sails. Enjoy a welcome drink and check into your cabin. Have lunch which cruising in the magnificent Ha Long Bay, admiring the views before anchoring at the Titop Island area. Head off on a guided visit to Sung Sot Cave (also called Amazing Cave), one of the biggest and most beautiful caves in Halong Bay. Climb to the peak of Titop Island for panoramic views of the bay before heading down to relax on the beach and swim in the crystal waters. Head back to Oriental Sails for sunset and happy hour before dinner. Take part in a cooking demonstration and food demonstration and food décor with the chef. Finish off the day joining squid fishing with the crew, sing karaoke, or just laze around and relax in your cabin.

Day 2: Halong Bay – Hanoi

Welcome the new day with an amazing sunrise on the Legendary Gulf of Tonkin. Refresh your body & soul with a Tai-chi lesson on sundeck. Have some breakfast before joining a guided tour exploring the hidden parts of the bay, Luon Cave. Share a sampan with others and a local rower or take a kayak out on your own before heading back to Oriental Sails for lunch.
